Kensey Foods is looking to recruit an experienced and highly driven Purchasing Manager for its bakery in Launceston Cornwall.
The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for leading procurement/ vendor development and negotiation with suppliers, as well as driving the performance of the purchasing team and delivering results through site and group functional strategy. They will also play a key role within the site leadership team highlighting opportunities and risks to influence business performance. The role exists in order to provide the business with a competitive advantage through securing better quality better priced materials and services.
Successful candidates will have purchasing experience at a senior level within a related industry and be able to demonstrate previous negotiation strategies with proven results. They will be able to prove their ability to deliver the highest performance standards for self and team and show that they have developed and establish long term supplier relationships.
