Your role as Hygiene Manager is to effectively manage and develop the site hygiene function. You will be proactive in achieving the highest standards of hygiene throughout the factory, ensure that all hygiene standards are compliant with customer codes of practice and identify and deliver solutions for continuous business improvement that ensure food safety, legality & quality remains paramount to the success of the business. You will also ensure hygiene staff are appropriately trained, organised and managed to complete required workload, drive forward departmental policies and procedures plus management and control of departmental budget.
You will be able to demonstrate strong hygiene experience from within a food manufacturing environment, preferably in a managerial / supervisory role. You will possess excellent knowledge of food industry working practices i.e. BRC, corrective action closure internal auditing, food cleaning chemicals plus hygiene standards in a factory. You will be flexible and have the ability to communicate at all levels together with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
The Interim Hygiene Manager job is based in the Home Counties / Midlands region and is paying £300 per day. The working hours are Monday to Friday nights, 10.00pm – 6.00am.
This is an interim contract with a duration of 3 months.
