The end result is that we have recently opened our 4th unit and are in the process of building our 5th, which is due to open in early 2017. We are currently looking for a Front Line Manager to lead the logistic teams' activities for a shift to ensure that they operate safely, meet planned output and key cost metrics.
You will need to plan and direct shift resources and equipment, responding to identified risks and issues by appropriately redirecting resource, to meet planned outputs. Actively managing a safe working environment at all times by ensuring all tasks are conducted in a safe manner. Communication with suppliers, customers and third parties is key to build positive working relationships and address localised operational risks and issues.
Skills & Experience
You will need to provide leadership and direction to the logistics shift teams to ensure that people are engaged, focused and delivering their potential. Ensuring all mandatory / skills training is up to date for operators.
Have knowledge of the distribution/warehouse business and propose and implement continuous improvements, manage shift costs in line with a budget.
Excellent customer service and a high level of numeracy and literacy is essential.
