A leading Chilled foods manufacturer is currently seeking a Process Development manager to join their team to formulate the Process strategy in line with the business strategy.

Process Development Manager responsibilities include:
Prioritise and take a strategic view on the workload for the NPD team.
Integrate process and NPD ensuring that the Chefs take full ownership for products from
concept to post launch.
Supervision of the Process Team
Liaise closely with the technical teams, purchasing teams and finance teams.
You will be responsible for achieving technical compliance for all products, ensuring raw materials and ingredients are ordered on time and ensuring accurate information is given to the Cost Accountant.
Devise the appropriate procedures and systems for project managing new products and the re-development of products.
Build up a strong relationship with the manufacturing teams instilling ownership and pride in the launch of new products from the first trial.
Be a major contact with our customers, both on and off site.
Take a lead role in customer visits to the site.
Build a strong relationship with the Commercial Managers in order that only viable products are developed.
Work closely with the manufacturing teams and Process Technologists to reduce the level of waste.
Work closely with the manufacturing teams to help improve processes and engineer costs on existing products.
Build a strong knowledge of our products.
Monitor and advise on product quality

You will currently be a Process Development Manager / Process Manager used to working within a chilled, high risk manufacturing environment. You will be used to working a broad role encompassing all areas of Process Management.
