The company

You will be working for a leading provider of innovative food solutions working with retailers, food service companies and food manufacturers. As well as developing and delivering food solutions, the business also supports its partners through market research, consumer trend analysis, marketing and public relations.

The job

Your role as Technical Manager will be to support product safety and quality assurance within the business and alongside the Lead Technical Manager, ensure an effective cascade to contracted partner manufacturing sites. You will act as a key technical contact providing knowledge and excellence on matters of food quality, safety, science/technology & due diligence, populate a technical KPI set, actively participate in the product development (NPD) process, deliver and maintain any third party direct accreditation standards plus oversee a food safety and quality management system that facilitates monitoring and compliance with BRC, legislative and all customer technical standards at supply partners.

Your experience

You will be an experienced Quality / Technical Manager or equivalent with an operational background gained in the food manufacturing industry, experience of working with poultry or protein based products is essential. You will also have leadership and influencing skills and have proven technical knowledge. You are comfortable defining technical strategy and contributing to wider business planning plus the ability to implement and understand food industry and customer standards at the highest level. A full UK driving licence is also essential.

The Technical Manager job is based in the London region and is paying £45,000. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm.
