As a key player in this dedicated NPD team you’ll be leading the development of new ranges as well as re-energising existing portfolios in line with customer briefs and company expectations. Working closely with internal teams you’ll manage product documentation and calculate nutritional values to ensure your ranges are produced to the highest levels of quality and taste whilst being cost efficient. You’ll also be conducting benchmarking, taste panels and competitor analysis as well as monitoring product performance to drive continuous improvements and ensure this established business maintains its leading position within its sector. In addition you’ll be presenting new ideas to key customers, impressing them with your product and industry knowledge and maintaining strong relationships to help both sides achieve their ambitious goals.
Suit a passionate and driven foodie who has previous experience within a chilled food manufacturing environment. Ideally you’ll have worked directly with the UK retailers and will have a proven track record of successful product launches where you have acquired a good working knowledge of the NPD process. You’ll need to have excellent organisation, communication and presentation skills as well as a Driving Licence for occasional site visits.
