The Business

A recent acquisition by a private equity firm has seen vastly increased investment in the business, which is expanding its already considerable influence in the ambient bakery category. The company has a view to breaking into the competitive European market, and also to consolidating both historic and recent wins with major retailers in the UK.

The Role

As a result of their growth, and to ensure it continuation, the business is looking to appoint an Executive to assist their Business Unit Controllers across major mults accounts.  The role will be challenging: you will be taking on a lot of responsibility very quickly. The role will include presentation to, and negotiation with, some of the business’ key customers, and you will also be expected to have a good analytical grasp of commercial data, and to create reports and make suggestions to the benefit of your Business Unit Controller.

The Person

You will be a recent graduate or educated to graduate level with a couple of years’ experience, ideally within a Top 5 setting. Exposure to commercial admin, data and reports would be helpful; but above all, you will be an individual with good analytical skills, commercial awareness and a willingness to grow into a challenging commercial role.
