Training Systems Manager

Circa £25,000

A distribution business within Boston is currently recruiting for a Training Systems Manager for their compliance team.

The role will be site based and will lead, monitor and record all records across Training, H&S, New Starter Inductions, and BRC audits.

  • Organise and be responsible for delivering required client training eg Food Safety, COSHH and Health and Safety
  • Ensure adequate in house training resource is identified and trained to the required levels
  • Keep accurate records of all training activity
  • Assist with TNA as required for staff and assist with sourcing/delivering appropriate training in conjunction with Head of HR
  • With HR, design and deliver relevant management training eg basic employment law knowledge, appraisal training etc
  • Review and deliver induction programme to all new team members
  • Manage all Health and Safety requirements for the business, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements
  • Maintain Level 4 Food Safety qualification to enable sign off of relevant client OH paperwork
  • Monitor and review completed OH questionnaires with regards to worker/employee fitness for work up to professional limit
  • Conduct customer H&S audits as required, attend client H&S meetings as appropriate
  • Liaise with senior management, clients, company insurer, broker and solicitors as and when required with reference to accidents/near misses. Maintain effective communications with all parties
  • Keep accurate records of accidents/incidents, producing statistics as required
  • Champion and lead all internal audit activity
