Maintenance Manager, Flour, Food Manufacturing
This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Manager that has a proven track record in developing and implementing a preventative maintenance strategy within a flour milling environment.
A global MNC with multiple sites across the UAE requires a strategic leader to help drive the flour milling business through the execution of new systems and processes. You will improve efficiency and drive down costs on a site that is already at the point of maximum capacity.
Future expansion projects are on the horizon and therefore an individual with strong project management skills will be required to manage CAPEX projects across the region. You must have an understanding of boilers, condensers, generators, grain silos, conveyors and pressure vessels and have the ability to maximise efficiency. An understanding of Buhler machinery will be highly regarded.
You must be an ambassador for safety. Creating a safety culture across the maintenance function is crucial for this role and in order to apply this your communication skills will be challenged.
You will be directly responsible for a team of 4 Maintenance Supervisors that lead 20 technicians. These individuals will require coaching and a succession plan should be created to assist with their professional growth within the business. The successful candidate will be molded into the Functional Head within 3 years.
A degree qualified mechanical engineer that has experience in a mature market such as Australia, UK or USA is essential for this opportunity.

- Troubleshooting skills
- In-depth knowledge in TPM
