Paul Nyman Consultancy are currently recruiting a Technical Services Manager based in the Yorkshire region.

The Business

The company forms part of a leading national group, built upon many years of experience. The company specifically are a national leading supplier of their own label fresh product to some of the world’s top grocery retailer companies and based on this growth over a number of years, they are now looking for a Technical Services Manager to join their close-knit team. 

The Role

As a Technical Services Manager, key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting a team of Technical Account Managers
  • Maintenance and continuous improvements of the group Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with current food safety legislation
  • Providing a link and working with the Sales and Marketing team on all relevant projects
  • Providing strategic direction to the Customer Technical Team in alignment with both the Technical, Risk and Governance department and Group strategies/business plans

The Individual

You will have a breadth of management experience within a food manufacturing technical function and will have exposure to the major multiples. You will understand how to build strong customer relations and use this to meet their requirements, whilst driving growth within the business. To make an impact in this team you will be a passionate individual who enjoys the challenges in a technical environment and will be confident in bringing your commercial understandings to improve this area.
