They are now seeking a Concept Developer to help drive new projects, continue their success and retain their position as a market leader in their sector.
In this fast paced NPD role you’ll be responsible for the development and introduction of new product concepts, driving ideas through the creative development process whilst ensuring the end result is commercially viable. You’ll use your market knowledge of the latest food trends to interpret high profile customer briefs, turning innovative concepts into a profitable reality. You’ll also be updating existing product portfolios and driving continuous improvements to reach new heights of success.
You’ll take a hands-on approach in the development kitchen producing samples for internal presentations and customer requests, working within this tight-knit team to complete projects in line with customer expectations and timescales. In addition you’ll be sourcing the latest ingredients and raw materials whilst identifying new opportunities to enhance product flavour and performance.
Suit a graduate with a Food Science or related qualification who has some previous experience in a similar NPD role where you have demonstrated a talent for developing creative new products, confidently presenting ideas and crafting fantastic relationships with colleagues and customers. Self-motivation, resourcefulness and initiative are essential if you want to make your mark in this challenging role. You’ll have excellent communication and organisation skills along with a proven record of working in a team to achieve project targets.
