Group Inventory Manager

With an enviable reputation for quality and innovation our client are an industry pioneer and market leaders in their field. Operating from a state of the art manufacturing and distribution site you`ll lead and manage the supply of stock from supplier through to a large network of stores with cost, quality and service in mind at all times. 
The role:

- Balancing the demands of maintaining optimum inventory levels whilst ensuring exceptional service levels across a nationwide network of stores is maintained
- You`ll play a key role in ensuring continued development of best practice proactively delivering improvements and cost reduction initiatives as well as inputting into the broader business Supply Chain strategy
- Develop excellent relationships with suppliers that will support the business to deliver during challenging conditions without compromising on stock availability or service levels to store
- Leading and developing your team ensuring they have the skills to deliver against both their personal and business goals

 Your experience:

- You`ll have experience of leading a team in an Inventory Management role within a fast paced sector
- Excellent analytical and numeracy skills, able translate data to justify recommendations and decision making
- Calm under pressure and able to work at pace you can be flexible to rapidly changing conditions for example delivering promotional activity without shorting stock to store
- A strong influencer you`ll be experienced in managing a range of relationships both on an internal basis and externally with suppliers and customers
- You`ll be actioned focused and bring a passionate and highly enthusiastic approach to this role able to influence across the supply chain to deliver results
