Role - Site Technical Manager
Salary - £70,000 PA

The Site Technical Manager will:
*Lead the Technical Functions to ensure they are engaged and high performing with a focus on problem solving and team work.
*Recruit and select the right team members, induct new members into the team, build team skills through skills assessment, training, feedback and support.
*Lead and manage the Quality and NPI functions on site. Coach and develop staff and Mentor other member of site team as appropriate.
*Give sound technical input to the business and play an active role in strategic decision making to ensure the safe production of food to protect consumers.
*Providing relevant technical guidance and support to the site to ensure issues are risk assessed as necessary and appropriate corrective actions identified.
*Continuously improving standards ensuring a problem solving and production systems methodologies are utilised within the department.
*Identify and implement best practise with the site technical function to help facilitate business improvement.
*Develop and maintain a positive proactive relationship with relevant customer contacts being the primary technical contact for site.

The successful candidate will need:
*To be an experienced site manager within the food manufacturing industry.
*Possess retailer knowledge combines with relevant 3rd party Food Safety Standards and the accreditations.
*Educated to degree or diploma level in a recognised food accreditation.
