Interim Buyer - 12 week contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Buyer to work for a well-established food manufacturer, supplying a range of ambient products.
You will have strong buying experience in a similar capacity in the food industry. Experience working with ambient products would be highly beneficial.
Your job is to effectively manage buying activities for the portfolio of products you are responsible for in the most cost effective and profitable manner, ensuring regular un-interrupted availability of bulk and pre-packed products, minimising overstock situations and write-offs, thus enabling the company to meet sales, cost and profit targets.
You will be available to start immediately, and be able to commit to a minimum of 12 weeks.
