We are seeking an individual to work for a well-established business which supplies high quality, innovative and great tasting products to the UK major multiples.

The job

As Technical Administrator, the purpose of your role is to administer quality systems and provide practical functional support in the day to day operation of quality assurance and new product development. You will maintain document control on specifications and procedures, organisation & reporting of daily taste panel, maintain library samples for shelf-life reference, investigate and report consumer complaints, manage product testing as required both internally and at external laboratories, provide test packs for manufacturing operations, complete daily review of production check-sheets, report compliance and ensure corrective action completion, assist product development as required in kitchen work and sample making plus identify and support development of quality systems to improve quality performance.

Your experience

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a similar FMCG environment and ideally possess a good working knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP and QA auditing. You will have GCSE’s in both Maths and English as a minimum together with strong PC skills including Excel spreadsheets, Word and PowerPoint. You will have a willingness to learn, have a genuine interest in food, be able to demonstrate good analytical skills plus be a confident and clear communicator.

The Technical Administrator job is based in the East Anglia region and is paying c. £18,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.

This is a contract role starting ASAP and lasting until the end of 2016.
