We are seeking a Concept Technologist who will have the opportunity to work closely with the Development Chefs to highlight new trends which will translate into innovative new products. These will exceed the customer’s exceptions whilst meeting the business needs. You’ll take critical path responsibility from kitchen concepts to factory transfers. This will include initial trials ensuring translation of recipe methods and assembly are communicated effectively to the process team, whilst working with the buying team to ensure raw materials are onsite.
A significant part of the Concept Technologist role will be presenting to customers on and offsite. You’ll be preparing high quality presentations to demonstrate new concepts and improve existing products. You’ll be showing off your creative flair, planning food inspiration trips and mood boards which will be a vital part in bringing products to life.
This is the perfect role for an outgoing, creative and ambitious Concept Technologist who has is looking for an exciting complex product area to further their career. Ideally you’ll have previous relevant experience in a chilled food manufacturing environment where you’ve brought imaginative products to market. It is important that you have had a high level of exposure to major retailers as you’ll be a key part in customer communication throughout the concept phase. You’ll excel within a fast paced business and should be used to working to tight turnaround times efficiently.
