The Commercial (Sales) Trainee is an approximate 18 month programme designed to prepare you for a defined professional management role within the sales team. You will have the unique opportunity to gain invaluable experience through completing placements at some of the company’s European plants (most likely in Germany or the Netherlands) before finally joining the team in the UK.
You will work in a customer-focused, multicultural, feedback rich, open and informal environment where you will grow to understand the manufacturing process including sourcing, production and packaging. You will help the sales team by building long-term customer partnerships, deal with various customer related issues, make commercial based decisions, participate in cross functional project teams and take own project responsibilities.
To be considered for the Commercial Sales Trainee job, you will be a holder of a bachelors/masters degree and preferably have completed a sales related internship or possess experience of working in a commercial environment. You will be entrepreneurial, pro-active and have an independent attitude together with eagerness to work for a professional and international organisation with interesting career opportunities. You will also have geographical mobility and have the desire to work internationally; an additional European language such as German, Polish and Dutch would be an advantage.
The Commercial Sales Trainee job is based in the London / South East region and is paying £25,000 - £30,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The standard working hours will be office hours, Monday to Friday, however due to the nature of the role, flexibility will be required.
