As NPD Controller you will be implementing the NPD strategy, leading your teams to develop new products and revitalising existing ranges that meet commercial and technical requirements as well as customer briefs. Managing a team you will support, motivate and inspire them to deliver culinary innovation and excellence with pride and passion.
You’ll also provide and manage resources for unique concept generation, optimising food standards and values within the category whilst demonstrating creative flair, transcending NPD frontiers and continually developing manufacturing processes.
You will be responsible for a number of food categories and retailers so as well as managing resources and teams across two sites, you will also be working closely with your customers and building influential relationships.
We are looking for a highly accomplished and commercially focussed NPD Manager who is looking to take a step up to NPD Controller level and who is ideally educated to degree level with extensive product development experience. A keen eye for spotting gaps in the market is essential along with the commercial sagacity to translate emerging trends into award winning products.
To be successful in this role you’ll need to have experience of working with the UK major retailers and will have amazing leadership and people management skills. Solid project management, organisational and influencing skills are required as you will be working cross-functionally to achieve ambitious company goals within a very competitive market. This role will be based between two sites so you will be happy to travel also.
