As part of the Kashi UK team we need an entrepreneurial sales person who can work with like-minded people who are passionate about making the Kashi brand a success in the UK. You’re an intelligent & experienced salesperson, with a natural talent for developing relationships. Full of energy & enthusiasm, you find targets motivating and have a history of demonstrated success in the natural channel.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
As a Sales Manager, you will lead the launch of the Kashi brand in the UK through developing and managing sustainable customer relationships across all levels within the Natural and Organic Food Channel.
You’ll do this by being responsible for delivering against the agreed annual business targets for the Kashi brand by leveraging all relevant account levers, e.g. Promotions, In Store Marketing, etc.
You'll also have quarterly and full year delivery of business targets, including full P&L Accountability.
You’ll have excellent customer relationship skills and so will lead and own the commercial relationship for the Kashi brand, whilst also creating and executing against the Kashi selling story for the UK Natural channel.
You’ll deliver the sales plan by identifying “win-win” opportunities with key customers to drive growth and performance. But don’t worry; you won’t be doing this on your own! You’ll have a strong relationship with the Kashi US sales team to support your work.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
- Educated to degree level (or considerable experience considered)
- Computer literate
- Strong FMCG experience, preferably within the Natural channel
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Proven record of demonstrating initiative and delivering results
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
Key relationships for this role are:
- Food development, marketing, nutrition
- Kashi US team - marketing and sales
- External Buyers, Category Managers
- Distributors for natural and organic channel
This role will be home based with a preference for southern England or London.
However, we’ll be flexible with your working and you’ll be provided with a company car to support the travel you’ll be doing.
