Technical Manager required to work for a meat processing business based near Basingstoke. The company provides quality meat products to leading retailers, manufacturers and food service providers.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business in a period of growth and increasing profits. You will report directly into the General Manager and take responsibility for all key elements of the Technical/Quality function.
The successful Technical Manager will have experience of managing BRC, HACCP and ISO accreditations and a proven record of preparing for and facilitating audits to customer, regulatory and industry standards. You will have hands on experience from within the food industry and be educated in a food related discipline.
You must be confident in a customer facing role and have experience of maintaining and managing their expectations. This role will include regular customer and supplier visits, so a full clean UK driving license is essential.
- Advanced Food Hygiene Level 4
- Experience of internal and GMP/Hygiene audits
- Train the Trainer
Salary - £35 000 - £42 000 + Benefits
