The company

We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to work for an independent, leading manufacturer of well-known branded products which are supplied into the majority of the UK major multiples.

The job

Reporting to the Development Manager, your role is to support the Development Coordinators in the management and development of projects. You will support the NPD team by communicating product changes between the development and production teams to deliver efficient and innovative development, actively seek to improve the high standards of quality and service to customers, play an active part in and arranging of product samples and also be responsible for the organisation and manufacture of samples from concept through to launch in the development kitchen.

Your experience

You will be educated to a degree level in a food science related discipline and looking to join a progressive and leading business to build your career within product development, any previous working experience in NPD would be beneficial. You will have excellent communication skills, be positive and results driven and capable of understanding basic business finance including profit and loss calculations. You will also be IT literate in MS Office and confident in the ability to use internal databases.

The Trainee Development Coordinator job is based in the South West and is paying £19,000 plus benefits including 6% non-contributory pension scheme and cash plan medical scheme.
