This is a challenging and rewarding role working for a long established manufacturer. Sticking to traditional manufacturing methods, the business strives to operate as environmentally responsible as possible to produce a wide range of organic and natural products.
Your role as Wholesale Channel Manager will be to manage the wholesale accounts across multiple brands developing overseas sales opportunities as well as managing existing customers. You will develop a detailed plan of stockists and a marketing strategy to increase shelf space plus develop promotional material, the relevant sales material and work with the marketing Director to ensure the website is fit for purpose. Working alongside the Sales & Marketing Director, you’ll develop an understanding of the relationship with the key accounts, handling all day to day contact required to ensure smooth running of the account and development of the working relationships.
Ideally of graduate calibre, you will possess at least 5 years of sales/marketing experience within food manufacturing; wholesale knowledge is also essential. An enthusiastic sales person by nature, you will have a mature, resourceful and energetic approach and the flexibility to thrive in an environment that presents a very wide range of changing priorities. Ideally you will speak another European language and be happy with prospect of overseas travel. A clean driving licence is essential.
The Wholesale Channel Manager job is a home based role; however, it would be preferential for you to reside in the Midlands / Home Counties region. The role is paying c. £35,000 - £40,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus company car.
