The company

This is a fantastic opportunity for a very driven and talented individual to work for a well-established and progressive food business. With an international supply base in over 20 countries, the company is exponentially growing year on year, increasing their presence in the UK Food Industry.

The job

As National Account Manager, you will report to the Managing Director and take responsibility for managing and growing an already existing portfolio of prestigious food service accounts. You will build and manage solid relationships with all accounts through strong levels of communication, create and implement relevant account strategies in line with the company’s objectives, work closely with the supply chain team through forecasting and delivery, identify and develop NPD opportunities resulting in new business wins and also facilitate the growth in existing accounts and source new business through employing innovative sales solutions to deliver value and exceed targets.

Your experience

You will hold a solid sales career track record (2-3 years) preferably in a food industry background and you will need to have previous experience working with UK grocers, UK retailers, foodservice or manufacturers. You will also hold a 2.1 or above in a relevant business degree. With a proven track record of delivering sales growth and achieving sales profit, you will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, strategic ability to influence and negotiate in a confident manner and a strong commercial acumen.

More details

The National Account Manager job is paying up to £50,000 depending on individual skills and previous experience plus excellent benefits including company car, up to 20% discretionary bonus, private healthcare, contributory pension up to 5%, 3 x life cover and 23 days holiday.
