National Account Manager | Fresh Produce | Grower
We are currently working with an innovative Fresh Produce grower who have seen fantastic growth in the last few years, doubling their overall turnover. As a result of this, they are now looking for a National Account Manager to help them continue this progression and ensure the business they have won has the commercial presence it requires. The ideal person will have a good background in Retail facing account management and may be looking to diversify their customer range, as they deal with the majority of the major retailers.
As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of a number of their retail (and a few foodservice) accounts. You will be given all the "tools" that you require to do this well and they will ensure you are supported where needed. As well as maintaining the business that has been won, you will be looking for any opportunities to improve this where possible. The category that they are in has seen a phenomenal growth in the last 5 years and they are right at the forefront of developing with it. You will also need to maintain close relationships with the broader business, to ensure the required supply is available to the supermarkets.
The ideal candidate will have had a similar Account Management / Commercial job previously, or could have been an Account Executive looking to take their first step up. Either way, a background in fresh food/manufacturing is essential and preferably having dealt with the retailers. Good communication skills will stand you in good stead, as there are a lot of stakeholders to liaise with. The ability to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks will be essential.
All in all, this is a great opportunity to join an exciting and progressive business who are perfectly placed to succeed commercially over the next few years. We take confidentiality very seriously at MorePeople, so your CV is in the very best of hands with us.
