The NAMS role is to create profitable change.
To develop the profitable growth of Hain Daniels products within the allocated area, with a view to accommodating other accounts in addition/instead of as and when required.
Working cross functionally both internally and externally, the individual is responsible for all aspects of the customer relationship as a lead.
The individual is responsible for managing, achieving and exceeding set targets/budget within the account within strictly controlled investment budgets.
The role will have direct account responsibility
To manage a portfolio of accounts, accounting for the achievement of agreed budgets within strictly governed financial limitations. Responsible for driving Sales, Profit, Promotions and Distribution.
To develop annual strategic account plans, operate within them, and dovetail with the Joint Business Plan within the account. Manage the plan and update quarterly. This plan will encompass all the POP drivers.
To create and implement a full promotional programme within the account, dovetailed with the Marketing plan and operating within the agreed Promotional Guidelines. This task is commensurate with the management of a strictly controlled Advertising and Promotional budget.
To list all New Products creatively within the account to agreed distribution levels.
Work cross functionally across all internal departments. This includes;
Category & Marketing, co-ordinating such tasks as Range Reviews and ATL drives,
Logistics, co-ordinate continual supply and manage any shortfalls with the account,
NPD, co-ordinating all aspects of ROB development.
Commercial Finance, managing and approving all spends
Customer Finance, ensuring timely and accurate payment of all invoices
Education and Experience
Preferably Degree level
Ideally, FMCG blue chip sales background, minimum of 3 years experience, preferably within a comparable category within a top 4 retail accounts.
Strong Inter-personal and inter-personnel skills
Strong Commercial acumen
Good Negotiation skills
Experience of Joint Business Plans
Track record of building customer/supplier relationships to ensure the business plan is achieved
Role will be home based, however extensive travel will be required on a regular basis to both the account and Histon offices. Travel may also be required to other Hain Daniels manufacturing sites.
This role may include overnight stays.
