A world leading heavy catering equipment manufacturer has an opening in its sales team for the North West region.

Due to an internal promotion, the opportunity to join one of the world's market-leading businesses within heavy catering equipment is now available. Our client seeks a skilled and experienced Chef who has the personality, tenacity and genuine ambition to thrive in a sales capacity covering the North West. Specifically; Cheshire, Liverpool, North Wales and bordering Shropshire and Staffordshire.
The role sees you partnering with equipment dealers in generating sales for commercial kitchens. Through one-to-one consultation and then equipment demonstrations to a prospected audience, you are an integral piece of the complete sales process. An ability to organise your time effectively, communicate with a variety of decision makers and the delegation of actions will be second nature to you. Along with a strong knowledge of the regional restaurant, hotel and contract catering scene, you will have a proactive and committed attitude to all tasks, tackling problems as opportunities.
This position will not suit an ex-Chef looking for shorter hours or an easy route to earning a commission. You have to want to carve out a career within sales, using your broad range of culinary experiences. If you have already managed a commercial operation or held a position within a sales function then this opportunity could be final piece to a glittering career so far.
Due to the nature of this work you have to have a full UK driving license and be prepared to re-prioritise your schedule in order to accommodate a number of eventualities you can be faced with from customers and suppliers alike.
