The Production Planner role is intrinsic to the quick turnaround of customer orders and the successful planning and implementation of production plans. You will be responsible for scheduling the manufacture of goods and publishing plans for the production teams, working to strict planning deadlines on a daily basis and you will also work closely with the Purchasing Manager to ensure the correct ingredients are ordered in accordance with production requirements. The role will enable an exceptional, ambitious individual to be challenged and progress within the business with scope for development into a variety of areas.
To be considered for the Production Planner role, you will have experience of working in a supply chain planning, production planning or closely related role within a food manufacturing environment. You will possess a high standard of computer literacy (particularly Microsoft Excel), the proven ability to work to tight deadlines and a positive and flexible approach to your work. A degree within a supply chain or related discipline would be desirable.
The Production Planner job is based in the London region and is paying c. £25,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm, however flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business.
