You will be working with an up and coming manufacturer which has experienced rapid growth over the last few years. The business never comprises on quality and only chooses the best ingredients for their products which can be found in major UK retailers throughout the UK.

The job

Your role as Technical Manager is to deliver quality systems management through the quality manual and policies and to ensure food safety standards, customer specification and service levels are met. You will develop the technical function within the company operation and organisation, develop current systems so that technical and quality assurance standards are in line with both legislation and business growth and also facilitate the delivery of the NPD and EPD stage and gate process from a technical perspective to allow delivery of sustainable NPD in line with the business’s strategy and plans.

Your experience

We are seeking a committed and positive individual who can demonstrate a strong technical track record in the food manufacturing industry with at least 3 years experience in a similar Technical Manager role or equivalent. You will have man-management experience and possess excellent working knowledge of BRC standards, quality management systems and auditing – HACCP level 3 and food safety level 4 is also required. A full UK valid driving licence is also essential.
