We are looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to fill a vacancy within a leading and sustainable packaging company. If you are confident with IT systems and have previous experience working in Supply Chain management, fresh produce and you've dabbled in Logistics then this could be the perfect job for you to further your career. You'll be working for a highly regarded packaging company whose morals about sustainability and environmental protection are unrivalled.

The Role

Coordinate operations across the UK depots covering Production, Recollections and Storage.
Manage third party service provider performance.
Source new suppliers for haulage and negotiate for the best deal.
Control the budget for haulage and create monthly cost comparison reports.
Planning of the overall supply chain including cost modelling, strategic business reports and managing Quality Control ensuring that standards are kept to the agreed and best standards.
Deal with customer complaints with confidence and assurance.
Work to overcome operational issues with our retail partners when the time arises.

The Candidate

You'll already be in a role where you're dealing with fresh produce on some level, stock control, logistics and supply chain.
Have experience in managing and motivating a team positivity always wins.
Experience of dealing with customers including complaints and having the ability to deal with these without it having an effect on your day.
Very strong IT skills would be a huge benefit.
You'll be self-motivated on your desire to achieve excellent results and maintain the excellent reputation of the company.
The ability to thrive working under pressure.
