The job

Working at a state of the art manufacturing facility, as Microbiology Laboratory Technician, you will carry out microbiological testing of raw materials and finished products to written procedures, maintaining records of results and reporting any non-conformances for trend analysis. You will compare internal and external testing results, carry out environmental & equipment swabbing, water sampling, input data and results into the SAP QM system, carry out laboratory systems audits plus support additional tasks as requested by the Head of Quality Assurance to meet and support the QA process.

Your experience

This role would suit a highly organised and self-motivated individual who is looking to join an innovative company and progress their career in the food science sector. You will be a degree holder in a microbiology, hygiene or similar scientific discipline plus have at least one years experience of working in a food laboratory. You will have a high level of accuracy and numeracy, be self-motivated and well organised plus have the ability to interpret and evaluate results.
