The company

Part of a large specialist food group, this market leading business has been established for over 40 years and is dedicated to producing and supplying high quality and unique products to nearly every UK major retailer.

The job

As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will assess and report on the quality of products by carrying out visual, sensory and technical tests during different stages of the process. You will be responsible for ensuring that quality is absolute premium from the moment the raw product arrives, whilst it is in production and until the point of dispatch.

As a key member of the QA team you will be focused on communicating any quality issues to line management and ensuring that the product meets customer requirements and specifications.

It will be your responsibility to make an accurate decision as to whether the product is perfect enough for the customer, and if not what next steps you advise the business to take. 

Your experience

You will be a hardworking and dedicated individual who has some quality assurance experience in a fresh produce environment or closely related.  You’ll need a keen eye for detail as you’ll be trained to spot product issues to ensure that only perfect stock reaches customers’ stores. You will be highly organised and possess good IT skills in Excel and Word, also due to the site location, a full UK valid driving licence is also required.

The QA Inspector job is based in the Lincolnshire / East Anglia region and is paying £17,500. The weekly shift pattern will consist of 5 days on, 2 days off including weekends.
