With their passion for people and delivering industry leading performance, they are now seeking a Technical / Quality Auditor to help uphold their reputation for product care and credibility.
Reporting to the Technical Team Manager, you’ll be a key member of the auditing department and be responsible for:
- Ensuring all sites are ‘audit ready’ at all times, demonstrating compliance with customer and legislation requirements including HACCP and BRC.
- Co-ordinating and participating in product sampling and daily quality assessments, ensuring consistently high standards by identifying and resolving non-conformances in an accurate and timely manner.
- Compiling audit reports and documentation, communicating results across all departments and using feedback to implement effective action plans and ensure product safety in line with customer specifications.
- Working closely with internal teams to enforce robust food safety measures, highlighting and resolving potential issues and driving continuous improvements throughout the business.
We’re looking a motivated individual with a Food Science or Technology qualification and some experience of working in a similar role within the chilled sector of food manufacturing. You’ll have developed an understanding of the technical aspects of food production including raw materials and HACCP, and you will be able to work effectively within a team as well as on your own initiative. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will liaise with internal colleagues and external suppliers on a regular basis. Good computer literacy is also essential as you’ll be accurately updating and maintaining documents and systems.
