Production Shift Manager, Food Manufacturing, Hampshire

This role will see you manage a production team through team leaders to fulfill customer orders. Nothing ground breaking in that. However, you will have the opportunity and freedom be able to concentrate on identifying areas of improvement and CI projects for the longer term due to the success of the site.
Key accountabilities include:
- Ensure GMP and food safety are maintained at the highest level
- Ensure the delivery of agreed KPIs
- Own the training & development of all levels of team members.
- Ensure labour and material requirements are in agreement with targets
You should have strong management skills with experience of leading a team of c.50 in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment. For large portions of the shift you will be the most senior person in the factory and so you should feel comfortable making decisions and being in an autonomous role.
