Our client has asked us to find an outstanding Recruitment Specialist to join its busy team of HR professionals. This is one of the most time consuming and demanding parts of a HR role and so the opportunity to focus solely on this aspect will be a treat to the right individual!
This is a chance to be part of a highly successful group, working at one of its manufacturing sites in a busy HR team. The Recruitment Officer will already have experience of bringing in skilled, good quality individuals into an organisation. Working from Operative level up to management level, this role is extremely diverse and offers many variables.
As this is a food manufacturing site, the demands for labour vary depending on the season. The Recruitment Officer must have the strength of character and the determination to plan ahead and react on the spot depending on the nature of the demand. High volume recruitment at various times of the year will be an inherent demand on your time, as will the need to find manager replacements / new job opportunities as and when required.
The Recruitment Officer will have previous experience in such a role and as such will be well versed in the systems and procedures that need to be in place to manage the recruitment process for a whole site. This is no job for the faint hearted!
You will love a challenge, be comfortable with reacting to the needs of the business and have substantial knowledge of managing assessment centres, advertising, and approaching prospective employees.
Due to the diverse nature of the roles within this business, the first job for this person will be to get to know the organisation. Meet the teams and understand what each job entails. After all, how can you recruit someone without knowing what the job will entail? You will be selling the job so you must be seen to have complete empathy for each position.
You will be a people person and will interact at all levels within and throughout the business. Managers must find you approachable as you will be their main point of contact when they have a need for new members in their team.
