Interim Technical Services Manager
Our client is a prominent manufacturer of chilled convenience products for the major retailers. They are now seeking a Technical specialist who can jump in with both feet for this dynamic interim role.
Reporting to the Technical Manager you’ll be managing site Quality Systems to ensure procedures are updated in line with company, customer and legislative requirements. You’ll review and manage Technical KPIs whilst reporting and analysing trends to drive continuous improvements and guarantee impeccable quality. You will also be providing technical support for your customers, resolving complaints to guarantee the smooth production and launch of key product ranges. In addition you will manage the supply base, working with suppliers to ensure high quality ingredients that correspond with customer specifications.
We are looking for a focused and driven Technical Services professional with experience in a chilled manufacturing environment. Excellent knowledge of the technical aspects of chilled food production is essential along with a strong understanding of quality standards including HACCP and BRC. You must also have great organisation skills, a high level of attention to detail and first class communication skills as you will liaise with suppliers and customers at all levels.
