Ability to analyse sales and market trends to ensure that products are fit for the offering and that product potential is being maximised.

Procurement jobs in the meat industry will require candidates to have some knowledge of supply chain management and general food product expertise. Other demands could include building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure business objectives are met. Developing and implementing risk management strategies to balance fluctuating product and retail costs. Ideally, candidates will also be computer proficient, including the ability to learn the intricacies of necessary software.
