About the Role:
Online is a huge strategic opportunity for Britvic which we want to accelerate in FY19 and beyond. With dedicated focus from the right talented individuals, we believe that we can step change our Online business.
Our Online Commercial Leaders are responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Britvic Online strategy. That will involve using their Online experience, creating a compelling strategic roadmap, galvanising the broader business around that strategy and then leading our business and our customers along that journey. These really are roles where the right individuals can make a huge difference to our business, make their mark and accelerate their careers.
The role requires an individual with strong Online experience, either from the retailer side or from an FMCG supplier who is at the forefront of Online thinking and delivery. It requires an extremely ambitious and determined individual who will challenge the status quo and be willing to learn on their feet. The role requires strong collaboration and communication skills to succeed. They will be responsible for all brands and customers and have a team of at least three, plus a cross functional leadership remit across the business. The key accounts will be Amazon, Ocado, the Top 4 Grocers and Iceland.
To develop the Online Commercial strategy for Britvic.
To inspire and to lead the execution of that strategy with the Sales team, the wider business and with customers.
To deliver the short term financial targets for Online. But to accelerate Britvic’s Online trajectory so that we step change our financial delivery over the coming years.
To upskill the Britvic business and lead cross functionally so that we service Online customers better over time.
To work with the Britvic PLC Online team to share best practice across other Business Units and other functions
Knowledge Skills & Experience Required:
Great Online experience – from the retailer side or a leading branded FMCG supplier.
Compelling, inspirational communicator, with the ability to lead from the front
Able to envisage a desirable future trading situation for each customer, in line with account prioritisation, and construct a clear plan to achieve this
Strong commercial acumen to enable development of powerful BSD commercial propositions which can be developed into account plans & implementable on retailer websites.
Understanding and confidence with P&L management and with management of both volume and profit forecasting processes
Strong selling and negotiation skills
Demonstrable people management capability – the ability to demonstrate some experience of strong line management, coaching and people development capability
