This role is working for a large manufacturer of recognisable UK brands. Part of a large international group, the business is always in the search for talented people who can contribute to providing the best products and services to their customers nationwide.
Your role as Quality Manager is to manage the quality accountabilities and ensure all procedures are systematically carried out in accordance with the quality and HACCP systems, policies and objectives. You will coordinate and maintain quality management systems, measuring site compliance, identify and deliver quality based improvements for site policies and procedures, train and develop your team to achieve best performance on both a team and individual basis, provide technical & quality support to production, conduct and monitor GMP in the factory and ensure corrective actions are taken where necessary plus assist/manage customer visits and third party audits and to actively support the Site Technical Manager.
You will be able to demonstrate solid experience (at least 2 years) from a similar quality assurance or related role in the food manufacturing industry. An internal auditing qualification and bakery products experience are highly desirable. You will also have high attention to detail, be computer literate and be able to work under your own initiative. A food science / technology related degree or equivalent is also beneficial.
The Quality Manager job is based in the London region and is paying c. £35,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm.
