This role is responsible for leading and coaching a packaging team for a multi-national, food and beverage manufacturing business.
You will apply your knowledge and people skills to continually improve plant performance. This role is day based but you will need to be flexible as the site operates 24/7.

Responsibilities;

- Working towards improvement of the effective, efficient and safe utilisation of people, machinery and materials to agreed company targets and standards.
- Lead operating loss analysis and work with the team to solve problems.
- In addition to working towards existing KPIs, you will be responsible for a number of projects designed to generate improvements across the area.
- Able to understand and deliver line financial performance.
- Set the direction for the area.

You the candidate and your experience;

- Educated to degree standard, although this is ideal, experience is key!
- Background in food manufacturing or FMCG.
- Team/People management experience. 
- KPI focused and enjoys problem solving.
- Lean or CI qualified is an advantage
