Business Development Manager, Home Based Midlands / South
This is a great Business Development Manager role for an ambitious commercial executive to work within the food industry with national accounts.
What a great opportunity for someone with one to two years' experience to enter the business as Business Development Manager with clear and defined path of progression in 12-18 months in to National Account Management. The role is within a small but perfectly formed business that manufactures a range of delicious and innovative products in to retail and casual dining sectors. This role will manage three to four national accounts with the opportunity to develop concepts and launch new products within existing and warm relationships, as well as identification of new business opportunities.
Accountabilities of this role include;
- To produce and agree customer plans and objectives in-line with trade channel strategies.
- To communicate with all internal stakeholders to ensure high quality and effective service provision.
- Effective implementation of agreed business plans to drive activity and manage multi-level relationships.
As a successful Business Development Manager for this role you will have already started a commercial career within the food or drink sector as a National Account Exec, BDM or Territory Sales Rep. You will have worked for a large branded food or drink business managing customer relationships. You will demonstrate a record of over achievement against targets and the ability to bring company strategies to life in the field. Finally, you will be a team player with a "can do" attitude and strong communication skills.
This is a fantastic business, experiencing sustained growth across all categories. The client is an international business with a strong and dedicated team in the UK based across three sites, turning over in excess of £40 Million.
