We supply prepared salads, prepared fruit, coleslaw and potato salad, dressed salads, and fresh food to go products to some of the UK's largest supermarket and food-service companies. Job Description

  • Managing a team of c.10 Operatives
  • Ensuring the operation delivers against KPI's on a daily basis
  • Attendance to Daily Quality Assessments meeting to review product quality
  • Liaise with the planning and forecasting team
  • Personnel management and developmentincluding recruitment
  • Ensuring zero food safety/H&S issues within the section

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Positive and resilient attitude
  • Proven planning and prioritisation skills
  • Exceptional communications skills
  • Proven people management experience
  • Manufacturing experience, preferably FMCG but not essential
  • Commercial acumen

Section Managers at NWF will have exposure to training and development that will advance their skills including such as; ISOH managing safely, HACCP and food safety, MIMO (OEE system) Short interval control and improvement plan tool, Six Sigma, for continuous improvement projects
