Our client is one of the world`s leading FMCG businesses within its sector supplying the Retail and convenience sector with a number of the most recognisable Brands in the UK and Europe. Due to internal promotion we are now seeking and exciting, driven and motivated senior Commercial candidate who can help drive the business further forward in an environment that truly rewards delivery and success. The Role:

- Full accountability for developing the strategic plan for your account, managing a team of managers and executives
- Managing the P&L from top to bottom, you`ll have the opportunity to drive sales within a non-hierarchical structure and deliver outstanding business results
- Develop strategy on how to build the business with key customers and manage the customer strategy and relationship
- Lead the development and implementation of the annual JBPs and ensure excellence in their execution
- Together with the National Account Director, develop trade terms by customer that leads to maximum volume, profit, customer satisfaction and product availability at appropriate cost
- Monthly review of sales results and implement appropriate actions to deliver targets
- Initiate reduction in trade spending
- Provide challenge within the Category Development Team from a customer perspective
- Partner with the marketing organisation to develop business plans for new brands and categories and lead the sales organisation in implementation
- Lead and motivate the ream to achieve excellent customer relationships and business results

About you:

- Proven P&L management, budget delivery and growth momentum
- Strategic thinker with financial and commercial acumen along with the hunger and desire to drive the business to the next level
- High achiever with integrity and the drive to make things happen
- Strong negotiator who has built up a level of resilience and tenacity along with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to build effective professional relationships in order to create sustainable joint business plans that deliver
- Successful Account Management and leadership experience gained in FMCG or OTC markets within a commercially oriented blue-chip environment
- Currently working at Senior Sales/NAC level. Also desirable is additional functional experience in either Marketing, Trade Marketing or Finance
- High profile role with proven track record of influencing managers at senior management level
