REPORTS TO:
 Quality Manager
 Technical Manager
 Operations Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 To supervise all hygiene staff during shift.
 To ensure hygiene standards are met during shift and ensure production staff comply with standards.
 To monitor, coach and train hygiene staff against company procedures, policies and working methods.
 To ensure effective communication between departments.
 To ensure all hygiene actions are completed to the correct standard.
 To ensure all documentation is completed to the correct standard.
 To ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
 To ensure chemicals are used safely, following all instructions.
 To ensure detail cleans are performed to the correct standard.
 To follow the hygiene schedule, recommend any changes which can increase effectiveness of the clean.
 To ensure effective handover from production > hygiene & hygiene > production.
 To minimise waste
 To ensure machinery used in the factory is kept in good working order, cleaned as necessary and is ready for use when required
 Implement changes in any section at short notice and to ensure effective operation during the change process
 Using tools and equipment to take machines apart to allow detail cleans
 Organisation and streamlining of hygiene staff tasks to ensure completion to correct standard.
 Ensure PPE is available and advise re-orders as necessary.

JOB DESCRIPTION
DUTIES
 Assisting Technical dept with site audits
 Maintain good housekeeping standards to ensure a clean safe work place
 To ensure all lines are clean prior to line start up.
 Lead and improve production processes to enhance quality and maximise efficiency
 Take responsibility of the quality of cleaning within the shift (to include any production staff) in line with the companies’ quality systems, processes and procedures.
 Motivating staff and communicating any issues to HR which may affect their work
 Monitor measure and report on hygiene related process performance and general issues
 To engage in problem solving and utilise trouble shooting skills to ensure all team members can identify root causes, and take fast effective action to resolve the problem’s in hand.
 Training of new and existing staff against procedures, methods and policies.
 Liasing with Operations/Quality/Technical Manager to ensure all training skills are met for current and future demands of the shift.
 Liasing with HR to ensure all training completed is recorded on the skills matrix and reassessed within the required timeframe.
 To work alongside other all senior members of production staff to ensure productive and effective handovers are actioned.
 To utilise leadership skills
 Reporting plant /machinery breakdowns through the correct channels
 Create an environment which is conducive to teamwork
 Complete relevant documentation as required
 Flexibility in regards to hours and areas worked.
 Ensure confidentiality is undertaken at all times
 Attend any meetings as requested
 Any other duties as reasonably requested by management.
