Role Purpose Statement
Customer facing role. Working closely with customers, sales teams & customer supply chain managers. Maintaining and improving forecast accuracy, waste minimisation and managing demand changes. Supporting the implementation of new and lost business forecast requirements. Working jointly with the Demand Manager to implement demand planning strategies. Forging strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Interpret corporate customer data/insight into robust forecast for Demand Planner
Provide forecast intelligence, to support effective delivery of seasonal events
Work jointly with Demand Manager & Demand Planners to develop core systems & implement forecasting best practice
Create and evaluate segmentation of products, in order to prioritise and analyse Customer forecast patterns, to improve forecast accuracy
Maintain data integrity to provide more accurate system based forecast to allow improved effectiveness of the Supply Chain
