We are seeking an individual to work for a well-established business which supplies high quality, innovative and great tasting products to the UK major multiples.
As Technical Manager, the purpose of your role is to effectively manage the quality management system and ensure compliance with all internal and external audits. You will be responsible for food safety and quality across the site to meet BRC Grade A. You will host all onsite audits from external bodies and customers, ensure continued achievement of daily standards in line with BRC standard for food safety and to meet all customer codes of practice and technical standards, manage analytical sampling and results system, support and drive agenda for NPD to deliver sales growth, management of traceability/audit systems and responsibility for HACCP with support and contribution of Quality Manager.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of working in a technical / QA capacity within the food manufacturing industry. You will have proven experience of effectively managing a team, be a clear and confident communicator plus be commercially aware. Working knowledge of managing BRC standards is essential as you will be required to oversee the BRC audit. Also, the ability to start ASAP is very desirable!
The Technical Manager job is based in the East Anglia region and is paying £35,000 - £45,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
