As Quality Controller, you will take responsibility for overseeing the quality control production systems for a number of national retail food service clients by ensuring the product quality offering meets their specifications and in line with BRC Global Standard for food safety standards. You will be the main point of contact for specified clients assisting with their technical visits to site and regularly writing, reviewing and updating the clients’ technical/manufacturing standards, perform daily process checks throughout the production, packaging, sanitation and warehousing plus maintain product quality through adherence to GMP, HACCP, product specifications and quality procedures.
To be considered for the Quality Controller job, you will be able to demonstrate good experience in a related quality / technical role. BRC internal auditing experience with internal auditor certification and HACCP certification are both essential. You will also have a willingness to show initiative and solve problems, an analytical and methodical approach to work, be a good team player and able to communicate at all levels plus possess good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
The nitty gritty
The Quality Controller is based in the London / Kent region and is paying £23,500 plus excellent benefits including pension, 25 days holiday plus other company benefits. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 5pm or 8.30am – 5.30pm.
