Divisional Supply Chain Manager
We have an exciting and new opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join the Food to Go division. The role will effectively manage the S&OP process across all sites within the division to ensure the network is optimised and can meet the service level targets at the lowest cost.
This role will cover 7 manufacturing units from London to Liverpool. The units are based in Bow (London), Park Royal (London), Atherstone, Spalding, Manton Wood (Worksop), Northampton and Crosby (Liverpool).
The successful candidate can be based at either Manton Wood, Worksop or Northampton.

What you'll be doing
A challenging and varied role where you will be required to work cross functionally to develop and implement best practice S&OP process and business planning over short, medium and long term horizons, developing and implementing a Divisional capacity planning model.
Working closely with each production facility to ensure the S&OP and Capacity Planning models reflect reality and are fully up to date, as well as liaising with the Commercial and NPD teams to ensure that all plans incorporate current and future customer/business requirements.
You will also be responsible for identifying any constraints and opportunities within the supply chain and ensure the appropriate action is in place to optimise the network or manage risks and pinch points. Developing collaborative partnerships with customer supply chain functions and reviewing the logistics operation and related contracts to identify and realise opportunities.
Managing key supply chain projects across the Division you will provide supply chain expertise as required, developing a supply chain training programme which can be rolled out to the Division.
Supporting the development of the Divisional supply chain strategy, ensuring systems and technology are fit for purpose and identifying and implementing continuous improvements.
Finally you will also ensure key events (Christmas, product launches, promotions etc.) are effectively managed and meet business targets.
What you'll need
Degree calibre with experience of working within supply chain in a fast paced FMCG environment.
A broad understanding of all supply chain functions (forecasting, production planning and scheduling, SOP, inventory management, warehousing, distribution planning, distribution operations, 3PL management) with a focus on S&OP and capacity planning.
Experience of managing and developing a team is essential, with experience in developing key relationships remotely.
Knowledge of MRP/Planning systems is also needed with a high degree of computer literacy and experience in developing analytical models.
