In this high profile role you’ll take ownership of key NPD projects, leading a team of dedicated Technologists to achieve success and growth. You’ll continuously source new suppliers and ingredients to give your products that competitive edge whilst being time and cost effective. You’ll conduct market reviews, identifying opportunities for growth whilst implementing solutions for existing ranges to keep up with the latest trends and enhance product performance. There will also be a strong customer facing element to this role where you’ll deliver presentations to wow customers with your market knowledge and win profitable new business by delivering cutting edge innovation that make this company stand apart from its competitors.
We are looking for a creative and committed NPD Manager educated to degree level with a proven record of driving innovation for major food manufacturing or food service customers. You’ll have a strong knowledge of product development processes gained from leading projects from concept through to launch in line with business and production requirements.
It will be advantageous for you to have a track record of managing and motivating a team to deliver NPD projects as well as being able to demonstrate excellent organisation, prioritisation and people management abilities. Exceptional presentation skills along with the ability to communicate across all levels are also a must have in order to influence innovation across internal teams as well as external customers.
