Innovation Manager - Bakery

The job

As Innovation Manager, you will be responsible for the full management and development of products out of 2 UK production sites across all trade channels. You will be responsible for the development process from concept through to launch including ingredients/packaging requirements, customers' presentations, pre-production trials and post-launch analysis. You will be responsible for the management and development of the NPD team (Bakery Technologists) and you will also carry out regular presentations to the extended team (commercial/operations) of potential new concept ideas that are in line with overall UK business strategy and consumer/market trends.

Your experience

To be considered for the Innovation Manager role, you will possess extensive bakery experience (major manufacturer or artisanal bakery) and have a proven track record of managing NPD process / team within a food manufacturing environment. With a natural innovative flair, you will be able to translate strategy and briefs into specific development opportunities, have a good financial awareness plus excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
