INTERIM OPERATIONS MANAGER
This well established, highly successful manufacturer of 'Free From' products for people with food allergies or food intolerances supplying most of the major supermarkets are looking to recruit an Operation Manager for their operation just outside of Glasgow.
Your role we be to support and influence the Senior Leadership Team in the development and implementation of site manufacturing strategy. Role model for Employee Engagement, driving Continual Improvement. Maintain and develop systems to ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, driving an improving Health & Safety and employee driven dynamic risk assessment and management. Maintain and develop systems to ensure compliance with Food Safety and Quality standards, driving an improving culture of Quality improvement through engaged team members. Lead the continual development of team members, enhancing productivity through standard setting, training, communication and strong leadership. Develop and maintain suitable Lean Manufacturing tools that drive proactive and corrective actions at an appropriate level by use of escalation and information cascading in order to meet established KPI targets. Reporting directly to the Directors.
